  • Mary arrives at St Gregory's

    To mark the centenary of the diocese, a statue of Mary - Lancaster Diocese's patrol saint - is travelling around each school and today arrived at ours. We has a lovely handover ceremony with those from St Bernard's and she will be with us until Wednesday when he pass her on to Sacred Heart.

    This morning, our whole school community came together for Mass to mark Ash Wednesday and the beginning of our Lenten journey . As we enter this sacred season, we reflect, repent, and prepare our hearts for Easter.

    Last night, our choir took part in Young Voices 2025. The children had an amazing time singing with 7000 other children, professional singers and a dancing group. A fantastic time was had and priceless memories made.

    This Advent, we have decided to donate toys to help those who need them most, ensuring that children will wake up on Christmas morning with smiles on their faces. By putting ourselves in the shoes of others, we have tried to be like Jesus, spreading kindness and joy during this special time of year. Our contributions will make a difference to a child's Christmas experience. A HUGE thank you to everyone who contributed!
