Part-time, Temporary SEND Teaching Assistant 2B
The Governors of St Gregory's Primary School are looking to appoint a dedicated, knowledgeable professional who is committed to getting only the best for the children in their care. In the first instance, the position would be to work with a child in Reception class with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in the morning under the direction of the SENDCO and the class teacher. Experience of working with children with autism would be beneficial to this role. Afternoons would be to work with other children with SEND who need support in lessons in Key Stage Two.
Standards of attainment and behaviour at our school are good, and we are now ready to move on to the next stage of our journey. We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic TA with an open mind and a ‘can-do attitude’ who can join our supportive team and help to make our mission slogan even more of a reality for the children at St Gregory’s, especially those with SEND.
Visits to the school are encouraged; please ring the school office (01772 795415) to book in. Please also visit the school website (https://www.stgregorysps.co.uk/) and read our Ofsted report from 2023 (https://www.stgregorysps.co.uk/diocesan-section-48-inspection-ofsted-and-performa/) to get an even better ‘flavour’ for our school.
I hope this information will encourage you to submit an application. Applications can be submitted via email to: bursar@st-gregorys-rc.lancs.sch.uk
