📚✨ World Book Day Year 6 ✨📚
Thu 05 Mar 2026We had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day in Year 6! Pupils wrote a piece of dialogue inspired by the beautiful style of The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse, exploring themes of friendship, kindness and thoughtful conversations. 💬🦊🐴
Parents also joined us in school to read with the children which made the day extra special. We held a Book Swap, giving pupils the chance to exchange books and discover new stories.
We were also amazed by the creativity shown in our World Book Day Shoebox Competition where pupils designed shoebox scenes inspired by their favourite books.
A fantastic day celebrating the joy of reading together! 🌟
