  Year 1 have had great fun designing and making their puppets using either glue or staples to attach their felt and gluing on all their wonderful designs! They have done a great job, well done Year 1!

  This morning, we enjoyed our Rocksteady concert in the hall.
  The children worked together as a band, performing with confidence and energy. It was wonderful to see their progress, teamwork and enjoyment of music. Well done to all!

  Our KS2 pupils performed a wonderful Carol Service tonight. The children sang beautifully and confidently retold the Christmas story, reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas. A lovely celebration enjoyed by all ❤️

  

• 🕯️✨ KS2 Prayer and Liturgy – Advent Journey ✨🕯️

  During Advent, each KS2 class has taken part in Prayer and Liturgy focused on the four Advent candles helping us prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus.

   

  🕯 Hope – trusting in God’s promises
  🕯 Peace – reflecting on calm and reconciliation
  🕯 Joy – celebrating the good news of Jesus’ birth
  🕯 Love – sharing kindness and compassion with others

   

  The children showed great reverence and shared thoughtful reflections as we journeyed together through Advent. 🕯️🌟

  We are delighted to celebrate our Autumn 25 Award Winners who have truly lived out our school mission statement:
  Loving all, like Jesus, we flourish together.

  These children have shown outstanding kindness, compassion and respect in their daily lives at school. Through their words and actions, they have demonstrated what it means to love others as Jesus taught us, supporting one another and helping to create a community where everyone can grow and flourish together.

• Hope Advent Promises

  As we come to the end of our Jubilee Year of Hope, we gather during Advent to reflect on the promises that God gives us—promises that bring light, peace and hope into our lives. Advent is a season of waiting and preparing our hearts for the birth of Jesus who is the truest sign of hope for the world.

   

  Throughout this special time, each child has taken time to create their own ‘Hope for Advent.’ These hopes express the dreams, prayers and promises our school community wants to share - hopes for kindness, peace, justice, friendship, joy and a brighter future for everyone.
