  • Hope Advent Promises

Mon 01 Dec 2025 Miss Duffy

As we come to the end of our Jubilee Year of Hope, we gather during Advent to reflect on the promises that God gives us—promises that bring light, peace and hope into our lives. Advent is a season of waiting and preparing our hearts for the birth of Jesus who is the truest sign of hope for the world.

Throughout this special time, each child has taken time to create their own ‘Hope for Advent.’ These hopes express the dreams, prayers and promises our school community wants to share - hopes for kindness, peace, justice, friendship, joy and a brighter future for everyone.

  • Year 6 & Reception Buddy Walk – Signs of Autumn

Wed 26 Nov 2025 Miss Duffy

Our Year 6 and Reception buddies enjoyed a wonderful walk together this week as they set out to look for the first signs of Autumn. It was a beautiful, crisp morning—the perfect setting for our youngest and oldest pupils to explore nature side by side.

As they wandered through Moor Park, the children spotted colourful leaves fallen, changes in the trees and the cool breeze that signals a new season.

We look forward to many more buddy adventures throughout the year!

To celebrate Friendship Day, Year 6 created their own kindness agreements and explored how kindness speaks all languages by learning kind phrases from the many languages represented in our class. We also spent time with our buddies sharing what we appreciate about one another. What a wonderful day of connection and kindness!
