David Attenoborough's 100th Birthday Celebration
On Friday 8th May, Year 5 celebrated the 100th birthday of Sir David Attenborough!
We learned about his incredible work and how he has helped people understand and protect our planet. Inspired by him, we created our own “Protect our Planet” pledges and shared how we can make a difference.
We are proud to be future protectors of our planet !
In Science, we are learning about the process of dissolving. We have learnt that when you add a soluble substance to a liquid, the substance dissolves and forms a solution. We have enjoyed carrying out investigations, making predictions, and discussing our ideas with our groups. We have found this topic fun and interesting and have enjoyed seeing which materials dissolve the best.
