One of the units that we studied this half term was non-fiction writing. We re-capped the various genres associated with non-fiction writing/reading and focused on creating a magazine page that incorporated more than one non-fiction genre. We loved exploring and reading the magazines together in class and then set to work planning and writing our own. We shared our finished magazine pages with Year 4. We enjoyed this unit that much that we want to create a school magazine!
