Maths Purposeful End Point - Fractions
The children worked out the fractions of a packet of skittles. They had to write the fraction of each colour and then order them in ascending order. They then had the pleasure of eating the packet of skittles. We discussed how we could do the same activity with lots of other snacks like m&ms, smarties and starbursts.
History Workshop
The children had the pleasure of Mr Worrell coming in to do a Stone Age workshop. The workshop was very interactive and the children learnt so much. They explored how life developed over the Stone Age period, from living in caves and wearing simple clothes to building huts and fishing with spearheads. It will definitely be an afternoon to remember!
