Science
This half term, we have been learning about materials and their properties. We began the unit by refreshing our knowledge from Year 3 and recapping the key scientific vocabulary we would need. We played a fun properties quiz, which everyone really enjoyed.
We then explored magnets and investigated which objects are magnetic. Next, we made simple circuits and extended our learning by testing whether different objects were electrical conductors or insulators – some of the results really surprised us!
This week, we carried out a science investigation to find out which material would make the best thermal insulator. Take a look at our photos to see what we discovered!
