Dance
In PE this half term we will be focusing on dance. We have linked this to our learning on 'space'. We have explored ways we can create movement to represent our hobbies and individuality and next we will learn some moves that would fit nicely with space music. Our PEP will be to perform a space dance to the Reception class in hopes to not only entertain them but also inspire them to want to try some new dance moves!
In week 4 PE, we created a class time capsule dance. Each group had to take a focus area e.g. favourite song or hobbie and we had to translate this into a dance move. We performed these to the class and constructed a whole class transition of all groups together. It was a lot of fun and we all expressed mountains of creativity!!
