In this unit, the children explored shape poems and how they are structured. They then used their understanding of them to write their own shape poems on fireworks. Finally, they performed the poems to their partner and then to the class.

This half-term, the children have focused on developing their drawing skills. They've looked at identifying shapes and lines within items and then using that to create their drawing. Their final piece was a flower that they created using different lines and shapes.

This half-term, the children revisited the Creation story from the book of Genesis. They explored the belief that we are all made in God's image and looked at how we are taught to treat people equally. Finally, the looked at Stewardship and how we should look after the world.

The children worked in pairs to put the children's scores from their maths homework in order from most to least.
