Autumn 1

Sharing our Running Wild stories with our parents 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who’s donated to The Foxton Centre in Preston! Your generosity is helping support people in our community who need a bit of extra care and kindness. 💛

For our Maths PEP, we took on the role of estate agents. Miss Duffy gave us a budget ranging from £700,000 to £2 million to find her an ideal property. Our goal was to research houses within this price range, compare their features and locations and select the one that offered the best value for money.

The Church guides us to make good choices and gives us some teachings to follow; some of these are called Catholic Social Teaching. The aim of the teaching is to create a more loving and peaceful world. Check out our posters!

In RE, we have been talking about how our choices have consequences and if we choose to make the wrong choices we will damage our relationship with God and other people. We then acted it out and showed that Jesus came to take our sins away and restore our relationship with God.

In RE, we made links between the Ten Commandments and Jesus’ summary of the law in Matthew’s Gospel. Check out some of our job descriptions for a new Christian, writing down ways that someone could love God and love others.

National Poetry Day 2025

Focusing on the burning bush and the Ten Commandments, Year 6 have been retelling the story of Moses. Check out our pin wheels to help bring the story to life!
