Year 6 WWII Workshop
Year 6 had a fantastic morning with Mr Warrell learning about World War II enabling them to have a better understanding of the events of the past. Rather than simply telling the children about the events, he brings them to life by engaging the children in interactive role play, asking them to wear the hats and helmets of the various armies, playing with old toys, trying on old gas masks and pretending to shoot rifles; all cleverly mapped out in a world of gym mats on the floor.
