Class Teacher (1 Year, Key Stage 2, Job Share and Intervention Teacher)

 

In order to continue to improve upon good outcomes at our school, the Governors have agreed to employ a teacher for one year to fulfil two roles within the school: 

1)    Job share with experienced class teacher in a Key Stage 2 class for 2.5 days a week, approx.

2)    Provide ‘interventions’ for individuals and groups across the school for the other 2.5 days a week, approx. 

Standards of attainment and behaviour at our school are good, and we are looking for a capable, enthusiastic teacher with an open mind and a ‘can-do attitude’ who can join our supportive team and help to make our Mission Slogan even more of a reality for the children at St Gregory’s. 

This role provides a unique and exciting opportunity for the right candidate who loves a good mix of stability and variety! This position is for Main Pay Scale or Upper Pay Scale candidates and we welcome both ECTs or more experienced teachers to apply. 

As a Catholic school, our Mission Slogan - ‘Loving all, like Jesus, we flourish together’ - underpins all we do. We currently have 210 children on roll who come to school happy, enthusiastic and motivated to learn, supported well by parents and the parish. We have high expectations of all pupils and are ambitious about what they can achieve. Staff well-being is a strength of our school.

This position is for Main Pay Scale or Upper Pay Scale candidates and we welcome both ECTs or more experienced teachers to apply. Which class the successful candidate works in will be decided after interview based on the candidate’s strengths and preferences.
