Wild School

The aim of St Gregory's 'Wild School' is to improve the academic and emotional well-being of children with additional needs through an enriched outdoor curriculum.

The children within 'Wild School' take part in various activities, these include: fire making, topic based arts and craft activities, themed walks around the local area, educational visits to relevant places which coincides with guest speakers that cover different areas of the curriculum.

Outcomes of opportunities from hands-on learning and appropriate risk taking allows the children to gain an  increased/further understanding of the world, their locality and develop skills for life in a way that is accessible for them whilst also allowing their self-esteem, confidence and resilience to build.
